When the Dales Suite first came to life in 2023, it had a rather different vision — originally fitted out as a therapy room, it wasn’t long before its quiet, tucked-away character pointed clearly in another direction. Recognising a growing need for small, affordable office space in the area, the decision was made to reimagine it as a collection of private offices ideal for startups and smaller businesses finding their feet in a post-COVID world.
The timing proved right. As more people stepped back from the daily commute into Harrogate town centre — or simply found they no longer needed the large floorplates of the pre-pandemic era — demand for compact, 1–3 person offices began to grow steadily. Businesses were restructuring, teams were getting leaner, and the appetite for flexible, no-fuss workspace was growing. The Dales Suite quietly filled that gap.
What started as nine offices has now grown to twelve, with three new additions: Dentdale, Bishopdale, and Lonsdale — each named after the beautiful Yorkshire Dales that hold a special place in the hearts of our landlords. The names aren’t just a nod to the landscape on the doorstep; they speak to something the whole suite embodies. Calm. Space. A little breathing room from the hustle and bustle of everyday business life.
Bishopdale and Lonsdale have already found their tenants, and it’s easy to see why — these are spaces that simply feel right the moment you walk in. That leaves just one remaining opportunity in the suite: Dentdale.
